Our Story: Passion and Salty DNA 🌊

The idea for Waves of Capri was born from Enzo, a skipper whose story went viral across the web through a few videos. His passion for the sea began when he was just 8 years old, and after 22 years of waiting and sacrifice, he finally achieved his great dream: working full-time on a boat.

Although the project under this name has been active for nearly four years, his adventure in the industry began 8 or 9 years ago. It all started by absorbing and learning the trade, the art of boat tours, and the secrets of classic gozzo boats through collaboration and interactions with locals in Capri. When the initial partners backed out and failed to complete their assigned tasks, Enzo chose not to give up on the project. Rolling up his sleeves, he continued to work hard on his own, serving as the Team Manager and Booking Manager.

Today, Enzo collaborates with people who share his same goals: maintaining tradition, professionalism, and mutual respect, both toward the working team and toward the clients. For him, this is not simply a job, but a true and authentic lifestyle to which he dedicates hours, days, months, and years of his life: for him, only the boat and everything surrounding it exists.

From day one, his mission has been singular: to revolutionize the traditional concept of excursions. The goal is to eliminate ordinary commercial tours to offer everyone on board a genuine cultural and seafaring experience rooted in Capri's local history passed down for hundreds of years.

We chose to focus on the Classic Gozzo because we believe it is the most authentic and poetic way to experience Capri. Our philosophy is clear: your safety is the foundation of your wonder.

• Constant Vigilance: In a crowded and complex sea like Capri's, our focus is absolute. While you enjoy the sun, we manage the "professional tension" of traffic, wakes, and currents. We take care of the complexity so you can experience pure relaxation.

• On-Board Protection: We are exceptionally attentive to families, children, and less experienced swimmers. We will only take you swimming where the water is safe, because your safety is our most precious value.

• o react promptly. We know every sheltered spot along the coast and exactly how to handle the boat to ensure a safe return. We do not challenge the sea; we respect it.

Our traveling companion is a classic Capri Gozzo, a symbol of tradition and elegance 🇮🇹.

We constantly upgrade it with every comfort (teak decking, sun awnings, freshwater shower), selecting the best local wines and charting routes that avoid the crowds, always searching for the quietest corner of paradise. Seeing the emotion in our guests' eyes when we stop in front of the Faraglioni is our greatest reward.
